Get Moving. Get Going with Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy
Your well-being is our top priority. We have Physiotherapists who have expertise in the treatment to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and well-being. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation often required post-major surgery, injury prevention taking into account your limitations compared to normal subjects, and health and fitness. Physiotherapists get you involved in your recovery and ensure you are back to your routine life as fast as possible.
In case of an injury or chronic pain that affects how you function every day, your doctor may refer you for physiotherapy. After surgery such as a hip replacement, or even in case of a heart attack or stroke, physiotherapy is recommended.
Sammprada focuses on both prevention and rehabilitation. Our physiotherapists help you in rehabilitation in the treatment of problems caused by injury, disease or disability.
A few commonly seen problems referred for physiotherapy are:
- Neck and back pain other than nerve disorders
- Movement restriction due to disease as in the case of arthritis
- Breathing problems such as asthma
- Post-surgical disability including heart problems
- Pelvic issues, related to childbirth such as bladder and bowel problems
- Loss of mobility due to paralysis, injury to the brain or spine, or due to any chronic diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis
- Loss of muscle strength, as in cancer treatment, or palliative care.
