Otorhinolaryngology commonly known as ENT, is a medical subspecialty that deals with surgical and medical management of disorders of the ear, nose and throat, and associated structures of the head and neck. Otolaryngologists are frequently linked with the management of conditions such as acoustic neuroma, balance problems, cancer of the ENT region, Cleft lip/palate, chronic sinusitis, deviated nasal septum, dysphagia, ear infection, hearing loss, laryngitis, nasal polyps, obstructive sleep apnea, sleep disorders, snoring and voice disorders.

Otolaryngologists are frequently linked with the management of conditions such as acoustic neuroma, balance problems, cancer of the ENT region, Cleft lip/palate, chronic sinusitis, deviated nasal septum, dysphagia, ear infection, hearing loss, laryngitis, nasal polyps, obstructive sleep apnea, sleep disorders, snoring and voice disorders.
Apart from these medical conditions, otolaryngologists are involved with common surgical procedures such as repair of perforations of eardrum (tympanic membrane), sinus drainage and removal of the thyroid gland (thyroidectomy). Other complex surgeries include endoscopy for pituitary tumors, microsurgery for acoustic neuroma, robotic surgery for throat cancer, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeries.
