Cancer Charity Event
There is a huge gap in understanding of cancer and its risk factors linked to nutrition, poor lifestyle, stress, and ingesting tobacco and alcohol.
Shobha Trust has been set up with a vision to inspire women and youth in rural and semi-urban areas to become change agents for their communities and families.
Dr.Radheshyam Naik, one of India’s eminent Oncologist and a key opinion leader in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT} treatment, is the Chief Trustee of Shobha Trust and is the Medical Director at Sammprada Onco + Wellness Hospital.
Our Mission
Shobha Trust believes that women and youth influence and bring about material changes in lifestyle to reduce the
incidence of cancer.
Our mission is to empower women and youth in semi-urban nand rural communities to champion the cause of cancer prevention.
Why should you contribute for
this event?
The trust intends to broaden its services in the preventive domain through a social approach. The idea is to implement a
community-based cancer screening program, rather than a clinic-based program, which effectively reaches the underprivileged population in rural and semi-urban areas of Karanataka. Your funds will help towards:
- 50 School Awareness Programs
- 50 Screening Camps
- 50 Street Plays
